Terms and Conditions

Ordering Information

Orders may be placed by phone, fax, email, mail or via www.bioprocessinginc.com to the Sales Dept. and should include the following:

  • Purchase Order Number
  • Bioprocessing Item Number and Product Description, with specific Lot Number if applicable
  • Quantities and any Special Aliquoting Requirements
  • Temperature Condition of Package to Ship (Cold Packs 4°C or Dry Ice -20°C)
    (Dry Ice shipments will incur a minimum $35.00 per carton charge, added to the invoice, depending on the amount of dry ice used.)
  • Packaging and shipping instructions not provided by the customer, will be left to the discretion of Bioprocessing, Inc.
  • Any single order less than $100.00 USD, will incur a $20.00 processing and handling charge.
  • Orders will typically be shipped the day following the receipt and acceptance of order, depending on vialing requirements.
  • Rush Same Day Delivery may be available for some products. Rush Delivery Orders must be received by 12 noon Eastern Time. Rush Delivery will incur a $20 fee.
  • Bioprocessing Inc. has in place minimum build sizes for the manufacture of all products. Purchased quantities less than the min. build size are available based on current inventory. If there is no inventory available, orders for less than a minimum build size will be filled at the discretion of manufacturing’s schedule. In addition, there may be a minimum purchase quantity for a specific product. Contact the Bioprocessing Inc., sales department for information.

Product Evaluation

Samples are available for pre-qualification of a product. Should there be a charge associated with a sample, pricing will be agreed upon prior to sampling. Shipping charges are the responsibility of the customer. Samples should be evaluated in a reasonable time period. Limited hold periods on bulk material is available on request.

Custom Products

Unless otherwise specified, products are manufactured in accordance to Bioprocessing Inc’s. internal specifications. Any variance from a standard product must be clearly detailed in writing. Written customer specifications will be reviewed and agreed upon prior to manufacture of a product. Aliquots other than Bulk quantities may incur additional handling fees.

Shipping Information

  • Items are shipped Ex-Works (Incoterms 2008) from Bioprocessing’s loading dock in Portland, ME. at which point risk of loss and transportation, duty and VAT charges become the responsibility of customer. These fees will be charged to the customers courier account. Freight charges may be prepaid and added to the invoice.
  • Unless specified by the customer, Bioprocessing Inc., reserves the right to utilize a courier of its choice.
  • Special instructions and temperature conditions should be clearly stated at time of order placement.
  • Any damaged packages received at original point of delivery must be documented and reported immediately to Bioprocessing Inc. and to the delivering courier.

Payment Information

  • With exception to special agreed upon arrangements, payments of invoices are due in net 30 days.
  • Account balances over 30 days past due from the date of shipment will incur a 1.5% monthly late charge which will be added to the invoice. Send payment to: Bioprocessing Inc., 1045 Riverside St., Portland, ME 04103
  • All checks returned for insufficient funds will incur a $25.00 fee.
  • Wire transfer fees are the customer’s responsibility.

Warranty / Guarantee

  • All products are guaranteed to meet Bioprocessing Inc’s. internal specifications at original point of delivery. Any product which has been altered, stored improperly or expired in the customer’s facility will not be considered for return or refund.
  • A product certification sheet will be supplied with each lot of material delivered.
  • Bioprocessing Inc. reserves the right to replace or refund any product that does not meet stated specifications. All defective material claims must be made in writing within 10 days of receipt of product. Returns must be authorized by Bioprocessing and will only be accepted with a Return Authorization number.
  • No return of custom products will be authorized if the product meets the specifications originally agreed upon prior to shipment.
  • Unless product is deemed defective and under warranty, all products returned with authorization will incur a 25% restocking fee of original invoice price. In addition, return shipping charges will be the responsibility of the customer.
  • Because immunodiagnostic systems are dependent on many factors, Bioprocessing Inc. makes no product warranty, expressed or implied, of utility for any particular purpose or merchantability. The customer assumes the entire risk as to the performance of products.
  • Products manufactured by Bioprocessing Inc., are intended for use only as indicated on the product label and certification sheet. Bioprocessing Inc. is not liable for damages resulting from use or misuse of any product.
