  • Production of non-adherent or adherent cell lines on a large scale. Recommended for quantities of antibodies >3 grams to hundreds of grams. Service includes cell line scale up and adaptation to serum free media and includes concentration of media using a tangential flow concentrator
  • Murine monoclonal antibodies are purified by Bioprocessing's standard method using Protein A, but other methods using MEP HyperCel, MEP HyperCel/Protein A, MEP HyperCel/DEAE, Protein G or a specific customer supplied procedure for the chromatography may be performed.
  • Antibodies are concentrated and dialyzed in PBS or client specified buffer followed by 0.2u filtration. In-process samples may be shipped to the client upon specific requests.
  • Product is shipped with certification sheet that includes testing by PAGE analysis and total protein by OD 280. Additional testing may be requested by client such as sterility or Western blot analysis.
  • Specific purification protocols that may be required for recombinant proteins from mammalian and insect cell lines must be supplied by the client. This may include written procedures and materials required to perform the purification. Bioprocessing Inc. can also work with the client and develop purification methods for certain fusion tagged proteins. Additional quality control testing using customer supplied procedures may be quoted on a custom basis.
  • All changes from Bioprocessing Inc's standard catalog offering shall be specified by the client in writing.

    Our approach to large scale in vitro production:

    We strongly believe that for most human, mammalian and insect cell lines a small 3-5 gm lot size should be produced before large scale production (20-200 gms) is attempted. Small pilot lots allow for development of a protocol customized for a specific cell line and insure the best price structure for large scale production.
