Guidelines for the production of Custom Control Serums
- Levels are assigned according to customer's specifications (an analyte concentration variance to be agreed upon prior to manufacture).
- Whenever possible, levels will be assigned in a customer specified assay, or by a mutually agreed upon quantitation methodology.
- Stability data is provided on request for any existing control serums currently being manufactured by Bioprocessing Inc.
- Upon request, custom control serums will be compared to available commercial products in accelerated stability studies. This would be done on both the pilot and bulk lots manufactured.
- Bioprocessing Inc. can provide a pilot batch for qualification for any development or new custom control serum. In some cases, there will be a cost associated with pilot batches manufactured. Quotations will be provided prior to manufacture.
- Control serums are provided in bulk, liquid form (>1 Liter). Liquid vialing on a limited scale can be done on request. Vials can be provided labeled or unlabeled according to customer specifications.
- Lyophilization is performed on request, by a third party.
